Peller Laments Wave of Phone Thefts at Traditional Wedding, Announces Strict Guest List for White Wedding

Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer, Peller, has expressed frustration after several guests reportedly had their mobile phones stolen during his traditional wedding ceremony with his partner, Jarvis.

Following the celebration, Peller took to his Instagram page to address the incident, revealing that he had been overwhelmed with calls from victims whose phones were allegedly stolen outside the wedding venue.

The social media personality said he had already spent a significant amount of money replacing some of the stolen devices and was exhausted by the situation.

Reacting to the unfortunate incident, Peller disclosed that his white wedding is scheduled to hold on August 8, but unlike the traditional ceremony, the event will be strictly private with only 100 invited guests.

He stressed that only individuals who receive official invitations should attend the ceremony, urging members of the public not to show up at the venue without an invitation.

Peller also issued a stern warning to people he described as “agberos” (street touts), accusing them of contributing to the phone thefts recorded during the traditional wedding.

According to him, anyone found loitering around the venue during the white wedding would be removed by security personnel.

In his Instagram post, he wrote:

“Agbero, please don’t come and stay outside the place. They will pack anybody they see outside and take you to where you don’t know because you guys stole many phones yesterday. I just dey get different calls about people phone been snatched outside.”

The incident has sparked reactions on social media, with many fans sympathizing with the couple while calling for tighter security at public events to prevent similar occurrences.
