VeryDarkman Puts Davido On The Spot Over His Political

Social media activist VeryDarkman has challenged Afrobeats superstar Davido to maintain the same level of political activism he displayed while campaigning for his uncle, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

VeryDarkman questioned Davido’s current stance towards the All Progressives Congress (APC), recalling the singer’s vocal criticism of the party during the Osun State governorship election when his family was directly involved in the contest.

According to him, Davido was actively involved in campaigning for Adeleke and publicly criticising the APC at the time, but his more recent interactions with members of the party have raised questions about whether he still holds the same political position.

VeryDarkman said he would be watching Davido closely during the 2027 elections to see whether the singer would once again use his large social media following to speak out against the APC.

He said: “I will just be waiting for Davido in 2027 elections. That’s when I’ll be waiting for David. When them dey fight for your uncle, APC na devil. APC bad.

“You were actively campaigning against APC because your uncle, your family was involved. You were very active bashing APC. Now you don dey frolick around them. All of una dey play.”

The activist further urged Davido to make his position clear if he believes Nigerians are tired of the APC and want a change of government.

“I hope say in 2027 your voice go loud. Because you involved social media and everybody was actively following the election and supporting your uncle.

“I hope say 2027 when everybody dey say them don tire for APC, I hope say that your voice go dey loud to say, okay yeah, don’t vote APC. I hope we will hear you that time,” he added.
