The mobilisation exercise is scheduled for Wednesday at the Lagos Television premises in Agidingbi, Ikeja, and is expected to attract supporters, political stakeholders and residents from across the South-West.

The movement’s Zonal Secretary, Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, said the event would formally launch the group’s campaign while building stronger grassroots support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to the group, the walk is designed to publicly demonstrate its support for Tinubu and promote what it considers the achievements and policies of his administration.

The organisers said the exercise would also serve as the beginning of sustained mobilisation across the six South-West states.

Participants have been encouraged to attend with posters and banners as the group seeks to increase public awareness of its campaign.

The movement said it believes Tinubu’s leadership can deliver economic growth, good governance and national development, and urged supporters to remain committed to securing his re-election.

The mobilisation comes as political activities intensify across Nigeria ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political parties and support groups already beginning to position themselves for the presidential contest.

Tinubu, who won the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the APC, is seeking another four-year term in 2027.

While his supporters point to his economic reforms as necessary steps toward long-term growth, opposition parties and critics have continued to raise concerns about inflation, economic hardship and the impact of the reforms on Nigerians.

The South-West remains a politically important region for Tinubu, who is from Lagos State and has maintained a strong political base in the area.

The PBAT Door-To-Door Movement said the 3,000-man walk would mark the start of a wider grassroots campaign aimed at building support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
