Oyedepo Declares End to Satanic Agents Behind Attacks, Predicts

Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has declared an end to attacks allegedly perpetrated by those he described as “satanic agents,” including Fulani herdsmen and ISWAP, warning that there would be “strange happenings” in Nigeria within the next 12 months.

Oyedepo made the declaration on Saturday, August 22, 2026, during the final-day impartation service of the Annual You Alive Convention (AYAC) 2026, where he spoke on the theme: “Impartation of the Spirit of Love.”

“I decree an end on the rain of nasty satanic agents called Fulani herdsmen or ISWAP or whatever demonic name they bear,” Oyedepo declared.

He followed the decree with a warning that any attempt by such groups to attack members of his church would attract what he described as their final defeat.

“The day they dare any Winner, that will be their last,” he said, adding that the declaration was made “on the authority of Jesus Christ.”

Oyedepo also declared an end to kidnappings and warned criminal elements that they would no longer have free rein.

“All those vagabonds in the name of kidnappers, their end has come. They know where they can’t go,” he said.

The cleric subsequently predicted significant developments in Nigeria over the coming year, saying “there shall be strange happenings between now and the next 12 months in Nigeria. Watch out.”

While he did not give details of what he meant by “strange happenings,” the prediction is coming in the context of his declarations against kidnappers and armed groups, which he said had posed threats to Nigerians.

Oyedepo urged Christians to openly identify with their faith and not allow fear to dictate their conduct. “Identify with Jesus openly. Let the world know which side you be,” he said.

He also rejected claims that Nigeria is an Islamic nation, describing such a position as “insanity.”

The bishop pointed to the size of Christian gatherings in the country, citing Redemption Camp, Dunamis Ministry, Salvation Ministry and other churches as evidence of the strong Christian presence in Nigeria.

“Somebody will say Nigeria is an Islamic nation, is he mad? Yes, he must be mad,” he added.

Oyedepo also recounted testimonies involving church members who, according to him, escaped kidnappers and bandits after displaying their Christian identity through “I’m a Winner” stickers and mantles.

He urged members of the church to display the stickers openly, saying: “Let every devil run from you.”

The bishop anchored the convention’s final message on love, describing it as the foundation of Christian virtues.

“The spirit of love is God’s ever winning ticket. Love is the foundation upon which all other kingdom virtues rest. Without love nothing works,” he said.

He further encouraged believers to remain fearless, declaring: “You don’t threaten a dead man with death. Whatever can’t stop God will not be able to stop you anymore,” Oyedepo added.
