Ike Onyema tackles Neon Adejo over allegedly chasing David Martins wife, Alicia

Big Brother Naija reality star Ike Onyema tackles gospel singer Neon Adejo over allegations that he pursued the wife of photographer David Martins while claiming to offer her assistance.

The development comes amid reports of alleged infidelity and domestic abuse involving David Martins and his wife, Alicia Daniella.

Ike addressed the issue in a series of Instagram posts, appearing to refer to Neon without mentioning him by name.

He accused the unnamed third party of crossing personal boundaries by allegedly paying for David Martins’ wife’s Airbnb accommodation and later asking her to send him pictures.

Ike questioned the character of anyone who would betray a friend’s trust while urging friends, family members and business associates to pay attention to people’s actions rather than their public image.

The reality star also warned against using religion to justify questionable behaviour, arguing that faith should not be used to give inappropriate intentions an appearance of righteousness.

His post reads …

“There are men whose desires are so poorly governed that, given temptation, they will sell loyalty for a moment’s pleasure.

“A man who can pay for his friend’s wife’s Airbnb, then turn around and ask her for pictures, has revealed more than he intended. He has shown how little sacred he holds another man’s trust, another man’s home, or the boundaries that should govern decent conduct.

“To his friends, his family, and those who place their trust or business in his hands: watch his actions carefully.

“For character is rarely revealed in the promises a man makes. It is revealed in the boundaries he chooses to cross when he believes no one is watching.”

In another post he wrote …

“There is something deeply troubling about a man who crosses a boundary, then reaches for God to make his intentions appear righteous.

“He says he saw a ‘flash’ that another man’s wife was unhappy, and that God showed him this so he could prove to her that if one man failed her, another could…”

“But God is not a cloak for temptation.

“Faith is not a permission slip to pursue what belongs outside your boundaries.

“When a man uses the name of God to give a sacred appearance to his own desires, pay attention.

“To his friends, his family, and anyone who trusts him in business: watch this man, and him.

“A person who can turn temptation into a divine calling can make almost any betrayal sound righteous.”
