A Nigerian man has shared details of his encounter at a Point of Sale (POS) stand in Lagos mainland.
In a widely circulated tweet, the man explained that he was in Lagos mainland to visit a friend.
Man’s Encounter In Lagos Island Sparks Buzz
According to @Real_Viktor, he ran out of cash and had to stop at a crowded junction to use a POS machine.
When he arrived at the junction, a young boy approached him holding the POS machine.
He requested for charges,and sent N20,500 to the account number the boy gave him for the transaction.
However, the POS machine beeped to confirm payment, the boy fled with his cash.
