The 2026/27 Turkish Süper Lig season will feature a strong Nigerian presence, with established Super Eagles stars and emerging talents set to represent different clubs across Turkey’s top flight.

According to reports by Wikipedia and beIN Sports, Nigerian players have continued to make a significant impact in the Süper Lig, with Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu and Wilfred Ndidi among the country’s biggest names in the competition.

1. Victor Osimhen — Galatasaray

Osimhen is the biggest Nigerian name in the Turkish top flight. The Super Eagles striker has become a key figure at Galatasaray, combining his pace, strength and clinical finishing to establish himself as one of the league’s most dangerous forwards.

2. Wilfred Ndidi — Beşiktaş

The experienced midfielder joined Beşiktaş after several seasons in the Premier League. Ndidi is known for his ball-winning ability, tackling, physical strength and defensive contribution in midfield.

3. Paul Onuachu — Trabzonspor

The towering striker is one of the most familiar Nigerian forwards in Turkish football. Onuachu previously enjoyed a productive spell with Trabzonspor and is expected to remain a major attacking threat because of his aerial ability, hold-up play and finishing.
