“He says I don’t know how to shave” — Lady reveals 4 things her husband never lets her do

A woman has shared some unusual things her husband will never allow her to do, including washing his clothes, shaving herself and paying household bills.

The woman explained that although the actions may appear ordinary, her husband prefers to handle certain responsibilities himself and does not allow her to take them over.

According to her, her husband does not trust her to wash his clothes properly, insisting that she does not know how to do it.

She said he also refuses to let her shave on her own because, according to him, she does not know how to shave.

Husband insists on handling bills

The woman further revealed that her husband does not allow her to pay household bills, even when she offers to use her own salary.

She said that if she pays a N20,000 or N10,000 electricity bill, commonly referred to as a NEPA bill, her husband will reimburse her when he returns home.

The woman said her husband does this because he does not want her to later feel that her entire salary is being spent on the family.

She stated, “He’ll never let me pay bills. For instances if I pay NEPA bill of 20k or 10k. When he comes back he’ll give me back and say so that I won’t say all my salary is what I’m spending for the family.”

Couple refuses to sleep apart after disagreements

She also disclosed that her husband does not allow them to sleep in separate rooms, even when they have disagreements.

According to her, whenever she threatens to sleep in the parlour after a quarrel, her husband follows her there. If she returns to the bedroom, he also returns.

She added, “Although we can put pillows in between.”

The woman’s account has highlighted the different ways couples handle household responsibilities, finances and disagreements within marriage.
