The All Progressives Congress, APC, has accused suspected Accord Party thugs of killing a nephew of the Director General of the APC Campaign Council, Oluwole Oke, in Esa-Oke on Wednesday night.

The party also alleged the complicity of the Divisional Police Officer, Segun Fatoki, in an attack allegedly led by the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, on its members in Okuku yesterday.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, on Wednesday alleged a threat to his life by the APC candidate for the House of Representatives, Eniade Oluwadamilare.

But at a press conference on Thursday, the APC said the allegation made by Egbedun was false, alleging that the Speaker ambushed its candidate at the premises of the Okuku Divisional Police Headquarters.
