TEAM OKOSIKEME UNVEILS ‘SUPPORT FOR SUPPORT’ INITIATIVE TO STRENGTHEN GRASSROOTS ALLIANCES IN SAGBAMA

…Campaign Group Seeks Mutual Support Among Like-Minded Candidates Ahead of 2027
A new political campaign initiative, “Support For Support,” has been unveiled by Team Okosikeme as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots collaboration and build strategic political partnerships ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The initiative, launched in Okumbiri, is designed to promote unity, reciprocity, and collective success among candidates who share the vision and political ideals of Hon. Emmanuel Okosikeme.
According to the campaign team, the initiative is founded on the principle that political support should be mutually beneficial, encouraging candidates at various levels to work together in pursuit of shared electoral victories.
The team noted that Hon. Okosikeme’s extensive grassroots structure across communities in Sagbama Constituency II provides a strong platform for mobilization, making the initiative an avenue through which participating candidates can leverage collective support and expand their reach.
Speaking on the significance of the programme, members of the campaign organisation said the message behind the initiative is straightforward: candidates who identify with and support Hon. Okosikeme’s aspiration can also benefit from the strength of his established grassroots network.
They added that the “Support For Support” campaign is expected to deepen political cooperation, strengthen alliances among progressive stakeholders, and encourage issue-based engagement as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Political observers believe the initiative could further consolidate Hon. Okosikeme’s growing influence within Sagbama Constituency II by fostering a broader coalition of candidates and supporters committed to a common vision of quality representation and grassroots development.
The unveiling marks another step in Team Okosikeme’s ongoing efforts to expand its political base while promoting inclusiveness, partnership, and community-driven participation in the democratic process.
