“Don’t ask me to cook for you or your friends” – Lady lists 5 requests she’ll never accept from men

A Nigerian lady has sparked debate online after sharing five requests she says she will never accept from any man, insisting that women need to set stronger boundaries in relationships.
Speaking in a viral video, the lady declared that in 2026, she would not hesitate to say “no” to any man who makes certain requests, regardless of who he is.
According to her, one of the biggest red flags is when a man asks to visit her home just weeks after they meet instead of planning a proper date in a public place.
In her words, she said:
“In this 2026, here are five things I will say no to as a lady. Number one is when a guy tries to come to my house after one, two, three or four weeks of meeting him. Why are you not planning a date? Why my house?
Another request I won’t hesitate to say no to is when a man tries to borrow money from me. Hello, I’m just a girl. Why are you trying to borrow money from me? Don’t you have male friends, uncles or a father? Stop borrowing men money.”
She also frowned at men asking women to cook for them and their friends, inviting them to friends’ houses for intimacy, or expecting them to introduce their female friends to their male friends.
The lady argued that women often give “wife duties” too early in relationships, warning that such actions could lead to disrespect.
Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that women should maintain boundaries, while others argued that every relationship should be handled differently.

Just imagine the kinda advise someone is putting out 🤦♂️
People need to stop turning personal experiences into universal relationship laws. One person’s “strategy” isn’t a blueprint for everyone else.
