Toluwanisings’ Family Announces Date for Service of Songs

The family of late Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has announced plans to organise a night of tributes and a service of songs in his honour.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event is expected to bring together family members, friends, fellow gospel artistes, fans and well-wishers to celebrate the life, ministry and legacy of the late singer.
In an announcement shared on the singer’s social media page, the family invited members of the public to join them in paying tribute to the gospel minister, who was widely known by his stage name, Toluwanisings.
The family described him as a beloved brother, friend and gospel minister, calling on those who knew him and appreciated his ministry to attend the programme in his memory.
Family Appeals for Financial Support for Widow, Children
Beyond announcing the service of songs, the family has appealed to Nigerians and other well-meaning individuals to provide financial assistance to the singer’s widow and children following his sudden death.
In a separate message titled “A Call for Love and Support,” the family urged the public to stand by his wife as she navigates the difficult period of grief and adjusts to life without her husband.
The family stressed that every contribution, regardless of the amount, would go a long way in demonstrating love and compassion towards the bereaved household.
It also provided bank account details through which members of the public could make donations to support the widow and her children.
The appeal was accompanied by prayers for God’s blessings on everyone who responds to the request, as well as strength and comfort for the family during this difficult period.
Toluwanisings’ Sudden Death
Toluwanisings reportedly died on October 14, 2026, just hours after ministering at a praise concert organised by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba in Ibadan, Oyo State.
His death came as a shock to members of the gospel music community, fans and admirers who had followed his musical career and ministry.
Since news of his passing emerged, tributes have continued to pour in from individuals within the gospel music industry, with some reflecting on his life, musical contributions and impact on those around him.
The planned night of tributes and service of songs will provide an opportunity for mourners to gather, celebrate his life and offer prayers for his family.
As preparations continue for the programme, the family is calling on the public not only to honour the late singer’s memory but also to extend practical support to his wife and children as they cope with the loss.
