Oyebanji Appoints Four New Aides

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has appointed four new officials to key positions in the state’s power, road infrastructure, aviation and transportation sectors.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday evening by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode.
The development came a few hours after Oyebanji swore in the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Habibat Adubiaro, and the Chief of Staff, Oyeniyi Adebayo, for another term in office.
The newly appointed officials are Philip Atere, who will serve as Technical Adviser on Power Infrastructure, and Tope Fatukasi, appointed Technical Adviser on Road Infrastructure.
The governor also appointed retired Air Vice Marshal Sunday Makinde as Technical Adviser on Airport Matters, while Tajudeen Alingbolu was named Director-General of the Ekiti State Transport Agency.
According to the state government, the appointments take immediate effect and are aimed at strengthening the administration’s efforts to improve essential sectors of the state’s economy.
The appointments are expected to support the government’s plans to improve power infrastructure, road development, airport-related matters and transportation services across Ekiti State.
Meanwhile, during the swearing-in ceremony for Adubiaro and Adebayo, Oyebanji urged the two officials to apply the experience they gained during his first administration to their new assignments.
The governor stressed that his second term would require greater commitment, discipline and accountability from public office holders.
He also warned that his administration would not tolerate poor performance, emphasising the need for government officials to deliver results and meet the expectations of the people of Ekiti State.
