NNL gives clubs October 23 deadline for registration

The Nigeria National League, NNL, has issued a firm directive to all participating clubs to submit their registration forms on or before Friday October, 23, 2026.
The league body warned that failure to meet the deadline could jeopardize their participation in the 2026/2027 season.
The league’s Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, urged clubs’ administrators to treat the date as a matter of urgency and complete all outstanding documentation within the stipulated period.
Alanana said the deadlines were designed to ensure proper organization, administrative compliance, and a smooth commencement of the new season.
He stressed that there would be no extension of the deadlines, calling on clubs to act promptly to avoid delays that could affect their eligibility.
The new NNL season is scheduled to commence on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with a curtain-raiser at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, where Heartland FC will host Crown FC in a Conference A encounter, with other fixtures to follow a week later.
