“I can’t take this anymore” — 27-year-old man breaks down in tears, says “I have nothing”

A 27-year-old man has broken down emotionally in a viral video while expressing frustration over his lack of employment, financial independence and social connections.
In the video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man described feeling left behind in life, revealing that he still lives with his parents and has no source of income.
He also spoke about his loneliness, saying he has no friends, girlfriend or meaningful social life, leaving him uncertain about his future.
Man laments lack of progress at 27
Explaining his situation, the man said he would turn 27 in November and had little to show for his life so far.
“I’m 27 years old, I’ll be 27 in November, and I still live under my parents’ roof. With absolutely nothing going on in my life,” he said.
He listed unemployment, financial struggles and social isolation among his biggest challenges, adding that he did not know what he was doing with his life.
According to him, his social life was practically non-existent, and he had no one to talk to about his struggles.
Shows living conditions in parents’ house
The man also gave viewers a glimpse of the room where he lives with his parents, using his living conditions to illustrate his frustration over his lack of independence.
He showed his bed and other items, explaining that his father had purchased the bed, pillow and other belongings.
He also revealed that the covering he uses at night belonged to his mother, lamenting that he had nothing of his own.
“It’s absolutely nothing to my name,” he said.
Says isolation has not helped him
The man further described feeling disconnected from the world and worried that his life was passing him by without meaningful progress.
“I feel like my life is wasting away. I’m not informed, I’m isolated. I feel outstated from everything in life,” he said.
He added that he felt he was falling behind and did not know where to begin in trying to change his circumstances.
According to him, he had been trying to figure things out on his own, but the approach had not worked.
“I’ve been trying to figure things out on my own in isolation but it’s not working. It’s not fucking working, I’m fucking tired,” he said.
Emotional appeal sparks conversation
As the video continued, the man struggled to contain his emotions, repeatedly expressing exhaustion and uncertainty about what to do next.
He apologised while speaking and said he had reached a point where he felt unable to continue enduring his situation.
“I can’t take this anymore man, I’m fucking tired. I can’t continue to endure man, I can’t continue to endure,” he said.
The video highlights the emotional toll that unemployment, financial dependence and social isolation can take on young adults struggling to establish themselves.
However, the man’s next steps and the circumstances surrounding his situation remain unclear.
