The contract award records of Benue State dated 29 April 2026 list awards to nine companies with a combined value of N2.5 billion. The awards cover two-seater dual desks, table-and-chair sets, English and Mathematics textbooks, workbooks and teachers’ guides, curriculum booklets, two pickup vans, twin-compartment VIP toilets, classroom renovations, perimeter fences and gate houses, and mini-football fields with running tracks. Records seen by SecretsReporters contain no announcement, handover report, distribution list or site evidence for any of the awards after the award date.

Apepai Engineering Limited received two awards. The first is N444.97 million for 1,120 two-seater dual desks. The second is N281.25 million for 84 table-and-chair sets and 540 dual desks for e-libraries and selected schools. The two awards total N726.2 million. No announcement of the awards, no handover report, no photograph of desks arriving at any school and no distribution list appears in the public record. A February 2026 report on teaching and furniture materials in the state concerns the 2025 UBEC and SUBEB matching grant, a separate programme, and does not name Apepai Engineering Limited.

Eduwaves Publishers Ltd received three awards of N278.98 million, N269.62 million and N172.89 million for sets of English and Mathematics textbooks, workbooks and teachers’ guides, stated as 20,000 sets in total. The three awards total N721.5 million. The 2026 distributions of teaching materials recorded in the public record name other sources: materials donated by UBEC and flagged off by the Deputy Governor, the UBEC national support-kits launch in Makurdi, and 400 School-in-a-Box kits supplied by UNICEF under Project BRACE-UP. No distribution in the public record is tied to Eduwaves Publishers Ltd. The company’s documented link to the state education system is a remodelled multipurpose hall at the SUBEB headquarters, inaugurated by the Deputy Governor and renamed after the Governor, carried out as a corporate social responsibility project.

Emrais Engineering Services Limited received N299.46 million for two 2025-model Hilux pickup vans. The company has no address, no history and no record in the public domain outside the award records. No report of a vehicle acquisition, delivery or handover by Benue SUBEB appears in the 2026 public record.

Tenth Associates Limited received three awards of N25.18 million, N25.22 million and N25.20 million for twin-compartment VIP toilets at St Mary’s Pilot Primary School in Ogobia, LGEA Primary School in Ajide Ekeh and NKST Primary School in Naka. The company appears nowhere in the public record outside the award list. Two of the three schools were listed as beneficiaries of the 2025 Matching Grant programme for classroom renovation, a separate and earlier programme that carries no toilet component. A captioned press photograph of the renovated St Mary’s Pilot Primary School shows classroom blocks, predates the toilet awards and shows no toilets.

Green Icon International Limited received N99.44 million for 12,000 copies of the Revised Basic Education Curriculum. No delivery or distribution report for the booklets appears in the public record. The company’s other public appearance is its naming on the Fiscal Responsibility Commission’s January 2024 verification list for a federal substation contract in Kano.

Shamze Dynamic Solutions Ltd received two awards totalling N198.85 million to renovate classroom blocks at LGEA Primary Schools in Mbakunde and Igirgi, Vandeikya. No record in the 2026 public domain connects the company to either school. Mbakunde appears in March 2025 reporting as a recipient of storey-building classrooms credited to the Alia administration, which predates the April 2026 renovation awards.

Liyenvak Resources and Investment Limited received three awards totalling N76.16 million for mini-football fields with running tracks in selected Makurdi schools and VIP toilets at RCM Primary School in Wajir and LGEA Primary School in Igirgi. The company name appears nowhere on the web except the award records. No 2026 report mentions football fields with running tracks built in any Makurdi school. In December 2025, a civil-society group posted a public appeal for help to complete a toilet it was building at RCM Primary School, Wajir, stating that the school had no toilet at the time. No public record after the April 2026 award shows the contracted toilets built.

Earthworth Nigeria Limited received N242.3 million for perimeter fences and gate houses at two Vandeikya schools. Home Modules Ltd received N62.22 million for a fence at LGEA Primary School, Ateku in Gboko. Neither company and neither fence appears anywhere in the public record outside the award list.

The award records themselves are published by the state. For the nine companies and the N2.5 billion in awards of 29 April 2026, the public record contains the awards and no delivery, handover or site evidence after them.
