Popular Nigerian financial commentator Geh Geh has advised men to remain cautious in relationships, stressing that trusting a partner does not mean they should neglect to protect themselves.
Speaking about relationships and marriage, Geh Geh argued that people can genuinely love and trust each other for years before circumstances change.
He cited footballers who have gone through divorces and lost portions of their wealth and properties as examples, noting that such men may have genuinely loved and trusted their partners before their relationships broke down.

You go come dey hear comments of I trust my wife, I trust my woman. My woman no dey like that. Bro you can trust people and still protect yourself. A woman can be good to you for 5 years make she turn against you in the sixth year. Naso life just be. You feel say all those footballers wey marry women, file for divorce come collect half of their wealth and properties, you feel say them been no love and trust those women? There was a time love dey, trust dey; them love their self, the trust their self. And for that reason they failed to protect themselves and they paid the price…”
