“Don’t let social media deceive you” – Lady speaks on reality of relationships

Published

on

A lady has urged people in relationships to be wary of relationship advice on social media, stressing that genuine affection should be reflected through effort and consideration.

She said there is nothing wrong with a woman cooking, cleaning, organising a partner’s home or helping with laundry when she visits, particularly when the man is also making an effort to treat her well.

She also argued that men who genuinely love their partners would naturally be willing to spend on them, while cautioning against rigid online rules about what men or women should or should not do in relationships.

Speaking to women who are unsure about their partner’s feelings, she said genuine love would be evident through consistent actions, particularly the way the person communicates with them, adding that no one should have to constantly beg a partner for communication.

Her words in part …

“See eh, don’t let social media deceive you. If you have a man that is trying his best tin treating you nice, there’s nothing bad in you cooking for him when you visit. There’s nothing bad in you sweeping his house, arranging his house and helping him with the laundry.

And to the men, if you really love a woman you will definitely spend. Oh yes there’s no two way about this. This whole social media thing where everybody is trying to give an advice that you should not do this and this as a man or don’t do this as a woman, see eh if you really love someone you are going to put in the work and effort.

And if you’re a girl and you’re a confused if the guy you’re currently dating or in a situationship with really loves you, there will be signs.

First is how they communicate with you. Yes, you cannot be begging for communication….”
