Transfer deadline: Man City agree British record fee for Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Enzo Fernandez.
The package for Fernandez is worth around £125 million and matches the British transfer record.
The Argentina midfielder has been granted permission by Chelsea to undergo a medical and complete a move to their Premier League rivals.
With Fernandez set to join City, Chelsea are now working to bring in a replacement for the Argentina international.
The Blues have been pursuing Roma’s Manu Kone and Monaco’s Lamine Camara, as well as exploring potential Premier League midfielders.
The transfer window shuts at 11 pm, but clubs can submit deal sheets to give themselves an extra two hours to complete deals beyond the deadline.
