LG Tracker Urges Nigerians To Report Poor Infrastructure, Environmental Challenges

Nigerians have been urged to use the LG Tracker platform to report poor infrastructure and other challenges affecting their communities instead of limiting their complaints to social media.

The initiative is encouraging residents to report issues including bad roads, poor waste management, broken streetlights and drainage problems in their neighbourhoods.

According to LG Tracker, the platform allows residents to speak up, rate their local governments and report issues requiring the attention of relevant authorities.

The initiative said the platform was designed to give citizens a channel to document community-level challenges and draw attention to issues affecting their daily lives.

“Don’t just complain. Don’t just vent on social media. Report it on LG Tracker. Beyond reporting the issues, verified claims will also feature on our upcoming show on TVC News, Chairman Explain, where the affected Local Government Area Chairman would be invited to provide answers to the concerns raised by citizens,” the initiative said.

Residents can access the platform through www.lgtracker.ng to report issues and rate their local government areas.

The campaign is being promoted with the slogan: “See It! Rate It! Report It!”
