An emotional market woman has expressed gratitude to Ablekuma North Member of Parliament Ewurabena Aubynn after receiving GH¢10,000 to support and expand her business.
The woman is said to have received the money through the MP’s Awura-Mahama Reset Fund, an initiative aimed at providing financial support to selected constituents.
In a video, the visibly excited beneficiary thanked the MP for the assistance, saying the support had come at a time when she needed help to grow her business.
She also disclosed that she had been a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) but claimed that despite her political support, she never received similar assistance from people within her own political camp.
Ewurabena Aubynn is the current MP for Ablekuma North and represents the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Parliament.
The MP has undertaken other initiatives focused on supporting livelihoods in the constituency, including a poultry project launched in September 2026 aimed at creating opportunities for young people and women.
The market woman’s reaction has since drawn attention, particularly because of her revelation about her previous political allegiance.
