EPL: You can’t take Man City’s titles – Rodri reacts to verdict on 115 charges
Barcelona midfielder, Rodri, has said Manchester City’s titles and achievements cannot be taken away.
Rodri was reacting to reports that City have been found guilty of all but one of their 115 charges by an independent panel.
This verdict could result in huge points deductions, financial penalties and even relegation.
But Rodri, whose seven-year spell with City ended this summer, has insisted that he believes in the Premier League club.
Rodri said: “When you live daily in that club and all the people that worked hard all these years to have all the success we have had, not only Pep [Guardiola] and the players, but from the owners to the guys that work daily, what we did they cannot take it out of us.
“It is not something that is paid by money, it is paid with effort and partnership, being shoulder to shoulder every day.
“We had a lot of success over the years and I can tell you that everything was deserved and I am glad I could live one of the best eras in English football.”
