Classic Magazine publisher, Agwazim congratulates Olukayode Salako over appointment to Lagos APC guber campaign council

The Publisher of Classic International Magazine, Mr. Dave Agwazim, has congratulated the former Chairman of the Lagos State Labour Party and APC chieftain, Hon. Olukayode Ezekiel Salako, on his appointment as a member of the Lagos State APC Governorship Campaign Council.

Salako is listed in the Contact and Mobilization Directorate of the campaign council, headed by Hon. Rasaq Olushola Ajala, Deputy Director-General of the campaign council. The development has been described by Agwazim as a recognition of Salako’s political experience, organisational capacity and grassroots engagement across Lagos State.

In his congratulatory message, Agwazim described Salako’s new responsibility as a significant recognition of his years of political participation and service, particularly his ability to connect with people at the grassroots.

Agwazim recalled his professional and political relationship with Salako, noting that he had the privilege of serving under him as Assistant Publicity Secretary during Salako’s tenure as Chairman of the Lagos State Labour Party.

According to Agwazim, his experience working under Salako gave him first-hand knowledge of the latter’s commitment to organisation, communication and grassroots political mobilisation.

“I am particularly delighted to congratulate Hon. Olukayode Ezekiel Salako on this well-deserved responsibility. Having served under him as Assistant Publicity Secretary during his tenure as Chairman of the Labour Party in Lagos State, I can attest to his experience, organisational ability and understanding of grassroots politics.”

Agwazim further described Salako as the leader of PANFO, a grassroots political structure with presence across Lagos State, saying that his experience in building and coordinating grassroots networks will be relevant to the Contact and Mobilization Directorate.

He noted that the responsibility before Salako requires effective engagement with communities, stakeholders and various interest groups across the state.

While congratulating him, Agwazim wished the APC chieftain wisdom, strength and success in his new assignment, expressing confidence that his experience will contribute meaningfully to the work of the campaign council.

The Publisher of Classic International Magazine also congratulated Hon. Rasaq Ajala on his appointment as Deputy Director-General of the campaign council and Director of the Contact and Mobilization Directorate, describing the responsibility as an important one in coordinating the council’s grassroots engagement.

Agwazim urged all stakeholders within the campaign structure to work together with commitment, discipline and respect for the democratic process as the political activities ahead unfold.
