DELSU Releases 2026/2027 Admission Cut-Off Marks

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has released its cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) admission exercise, with clinical science recording the highest threshold of 77.3.

The approved marks were published in the university’s bulletin issued by the public relations unit of the directorate of ceremonials, information and public relations.

Clinical Science leads the admission requirements, followed by nursing science with 71.2, law with 70.5, dentistry and pharmacy with 70 each, and medical laboratory science with 65.3.

In the faculty of management sciences, accounting has a cut-off mark of 56.7, business administration 55.1, and public administration 52.

Computer science recorded 56.5, while cyber security, software engineering, information system, information technology and data science were each assigned a minimum of 40.

The faculty of engineering approved 52.5 for mechanical engineering, 51.5 for petroleum engineering, 50.5 for electrical/electronic engineering, 45 for chemical engineering and 42.9 for civil engineering.

Other approved thresholds include history and international studies (50.6), mass communication (50), political science (50) and microbiology (50).

The bulletin also listed 40 as the minimum cut-off mark for several programmes across the university, including all the listed courses in the faculties of agriculture and environmental sciences and the programmes under the faculty of education.

The faculty of allied health sciences recorded 53.8 for pharmacology and 50 for public health, while anatomy and cell biology in the faculty of basic medical sciences has 50, physiology 48.4 and medical biochemistry 47.1.

In the faculty of science, biochemistry has a cut-off mark of 48.2, while microbiology stands at 50. Several other science programmes have a minimum threshold of 40.

The approved marks provide the admission benchmarks for prospective candidates seeking admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic session.
