Burna Boy to headline halftime show at 2026 NFL Paris game

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been announced as the headline performer for the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game.
The GRAMMY Award-winning singer will perform during the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at the Stade de France in Paris.
The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time (9:30 a.m. ET), with Burna Boy’s performance forming part of the NFL’s international games programme for the 2026 season.
According to the National Football League on Thursday, the Paris performance will be one of seven halftime shows staged across its 2026 International Games, spanning seven countries and four continents.
Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy said returning to the stadium for the NFL event was significant following his previous performance there.
“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” he said.
“The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music and I intend to give the people a show they will not forget.”
The NFL’s Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment, Tim Tubito, said Burna Boy was well suited to perform at what will be the league’s first game in France.
“The first NFL game in France deserves a halftime moment that matches the occasion, and there is no artist better suited to it than Burna Boy,” Tubito said.
He added that the singer’s previous history at the Stade de France and his connection to African music made his return particularly significant for the event.
