2027: I don’t need a hundred years – Peter Obi

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has declared that he does not need 100 years to put Nigeria in the right direction.
Obi, who reaffirmed his stance that he would only spend one term in office as President of Nigeria, said the country is headed in the wrong direction.
In an interview with Arise Television on Thursday, the former Anambra State governor declared that he’s not desperate to be the President of Nigeria.
According to Obi: “I will not stay a day longer, you don’t need a hundred years to start a journey in the right direction. Nigeria is headed in the wrong direction today and I just need to reverse it and head it in the right direction.
“I have never been desperate and in four years people will see the difference. In Anambra State in four years people saw the difference because Anambra, which used to exemplify bad things, in four years became an example of what is good.”
