Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman has reacted to claims that he lost about 13,000 Instagram followers amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the P-Square family dispute.
Addressing the alleged drop in his following, VeryDarkMan dismissed the development, insisting that losing followers would not affect his influence.
He recalled facing similar backlash during previous controversies involving Wizkid and the late Mohbad, claiming that such attempts to silence or discredit him ultimately made him more influential.
Verydarkman maintained that even if more people unfollowed him over the P-Square saga, he would emerge stronger and more influential.
He said in part …
“I don’t care! What are the 13,000 people doing for me? 2 million should go; I don’t care. You have done this before during the time of Wizkid. If one million no comot I will be surprised. But you have to take this home. If you people are not able to beat me, I become more powerful and more influential. It happened during the time of Mohbad, all of you against me and I became more influential. All this one wey una dey gather, if e no work, I’ll become more powerful.”
