Travis Kelce Opens Up on Taylor Swift Wedding, Calls It ‘Best

American football star Travis Kelce has broken his silence on his wedding to pop superstar Taylor Swift, describing the ceremony as “the best night of my life” and reflecting on the significance of getting married at one of New York’s most iconic sporting venues.
Kelce and Swift tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City in a star-studded ceremony that was largely kept away from the public.
Speaking to reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri on Wednesday, Kelce said marrying Swift at the famous venue allowed him to fulfil a childhood dream.
He described the wedding as “a crazy night” and expressed gratitude to the guests and the owners of Madison Square Garden for making it possible to hold a private celebration at the arena.
The wedding reportedly attracted several high-profile celebrities, including actors Hugh Grant and Jason Sudeikis, singer Benson Boone and model Gigi Hadid. However, the couple has yet to release official photographs from the ceremony.
Kelce also publicly referred to Swift as his “wife” while discussing her attendance at an NBA Finals game last season, marking one of his first public references to her by the title since their marriage.
Reflecting on the wedding weekend, the NFL star joked about the venue’s air conditioning, saying “the AC was cooking,” apparently referring to the intense heatwave that affected the United States around the Independence Day holiday.
The couple’s wedding had been surrounded by secrecy, with uncertainty lingering over whether they had already married or whether the gathering was simply a private celebration.

That speculation ended when large screens outside the arena announced that Swift and Kelce were officially married.
While Kelce described the wedding as the highlight of his off-season, he said his focus has now shifted back to football as he prepares for another NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 36-year-old tight end, who turns 37 in October, has won three Super Bowl titles with the Chiefs. However, the team missed the playoffs last season for the first time in a decade, prompting speculation that the coming campaign could be his final season.
Kelce, however, has given no indication that he is ready to retire.
“I have still got a lot of love for this game,” he said, adding that he wants to prove to himself that he can perform at a higher level than he did last season.
For now, the football star appears determined to balance life as a newlywed with his ambition to remain at the highest level of American football.
