Rescued Woro Kidnap Victims To Return To Kwara Friday After Screening

The victims rescued from the Woro kidnapping incident remain in Niger State, where they are undergoing medical evaluation, security profiling and other official procedures before being transported back to Kwara State.
Sources say the victims are expected to arrive in Kwara on Friday, subject to the completion of the ongoing processes.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is also expected to receive the victims upon their arrival in the state.

The rescue has been widely welcomed, with commendations for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq the Nigerian Armed Forces, other security agencies, and all those who contributed to the operation.
The release brings relief to families and residents of Woro, where scores of people were abducted during a violent attack that drew widespread condemnation and heightened concerns over insecurity in Kwara North.
