Police Arrest Suspect For Allegedly Beheading Lady In Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged beheading of a lady in Girei local government council of the state.
The command disclosed this in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, on Friday, in Yola, the state capital.
According to the police, the suspect was arrested following the incident, while a full-scale investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the alleged killing.

The command said further details would be made public as the investigation progresses.
It appealed to members of the public to remain calm and refrain from taking the law into their own hands, warning against jungle justice.
The police urged residents to allow investigators to conclude their work and establish the facts surrounding the incident.
The command assured the public that appropriate updates would be provided as more information becomes available.
