Osun 2026: Voting Underway At Oriade Unit 6, Ward 3
Voting is underway at Oriade Unit 6, Ward 3, Odoese, Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, as residents participate in the ongoing Osun State governorship election on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Voters in the area have turned out to exercise their constitutional right to elect the next governor of the state, with the exercise taking place amid heightened security and monitoring by electoral stakeholders.
The governorship election has attracted significant attention, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of Accord facing major challengers, including All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Oyebamiji and African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Najeem Salaam.

Security agencies have deployed personnel across the state to maintain peace and protect voters, electoral officials and election materials.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is conducting accreditation and voting in line with established electoral guidelines, while votes are expected to be counted at polling units after the close of voting.
As the exercise continues, voters have been urged to remain peaceful and avoid any action capable of disrupting the electoral process.
