Osun 2026: APC Candidate Oyebamiji Votes, Expresses Confidence In Victory

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the Osun 2026 election, Bola Oyebamiji, has cast his vote, expressing confidence that he will emerge victorious at the end of the keenly contested poll.
Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, arrived at his polling unit, Unit 11, Ward 9, Open Space Gantry Sawmill, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, at about 10:45 a.m. alongside his wife, Sekinat.
He was accredited shortly after his arrival and proceeded to cast his ballot.
Speaking to reporters after voting, the APC candidate commended the turnout of voters in Ikire, saying the presence of voters, electoral officials and security personnel indicated that the exercise was progressing smoothly.
“INEC (people) are here; the voters are here; security operatives are here. I want to commend the large turnout of voters in Ikire,” Oyebamiji said.
According to him, the turnout demonstrated that voters were not intimidated and were willing to participate in determining the next governor of Osun State.
“It shows that people are not intimidated, and generally, things are going on fine across the state,” he added.
Oyebamiji expressed optimism that the election would remain peaceful and credible across the state.
