Osinbajo to Deliver President’s Dinner Talk at 2026 NBA Annual General Conference

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will deliver the President’s Dinner Talk at the 66th Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the association has announced.

The NBA disclosed this in a statement issued by the Chairman of the NBA AGC 2026 Planning Committee, Abdul Muhammed Rafindadi (SAN), announcing Osinbajo as the Dinner Speaker for one of the conference’s flagship events.

According to the statement, the immediate past Vice President will address participants during the President’s Dinner, an event expected to bring together members of the Bench and Bar, senior government officials, business executives and other distinguished guests for an evening of fellowship and intellectual discourse.

Beyond the dinner engagement, the former Vice President and Professor of Law will also participate as a speaker at one of the conference’s plenary sessions, where he is expected to share his views on leadership, governance, the legal profession and Nigeria’s future.

The NBA described Osinbajo as one of Nigeria’s most respected legal scholars and public intellectuals, noting that his participation reflects the calibre of speakers assembled for this year’s conference.

According to the association, “Professor Osinbajo will deliver the highly anticipated President’s Dinner Talk, one of the flagship events of the Conference, bringing together leaders of the Bench and Bar, senior public officials, business executives and distinguished guests for an evening of fellowship and intellectual engagement.”

The statement added that “the former Vice President and Professor of Law will feature as a speaker at one of the Conference’s plenary sessions, where he will share his perspectives on leadership, governance, the legal profession and Nigeria’s future.”

The NBA said Osinbajo’s participation “further underscores the exceptional quality of speakers assembled for the 2026 Conference and reinforces the NBA’s commitment to providing delegates with a truly world-class experience.”

The 66th NBA Annual General Conference, themed “Beyond Limits,” is scheduled to hold from August 21 to 28, 2026, at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, and is expected to attract thousands of lawyers, judges, policymakers, business leaders and thought leaders from Nigeria and beyond.
