According to The Athletic, the Blues are looking to trim their squad after investing more than £300 million on new arrivals during the current transfer window.
The club has already reinforced several departments with the signings of Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Danny Welbeck and Emmanuel Emegha.

Chelsea are expected to approve more departures before the transfer window shuts as they continue to streamline the squad.
The Blues have endured a mixed pre-season under Xabi Alonso, winning one and losing two of their opening three matches.
Chelsea began preparations with an entertaining 6-4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers before suffering a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in Sydney. They then fell 1-0 to Juventus in Hong Kong.
After three pre-season matches, Chelsea have scored seven goals and conceded seven, highlighting both their attacking quality and defensive frailties.
The Premier League side will continue preparations with friendlies against AC Milan, Johor Darul Ta’zim and Real Sociedad before the start of the new campaign.
