Another Video Of NPP Youth Exchanging Punches And Attacking Themselves Surfaces

A Video circulating from the NPP’s nationwide “Democracy Under Attack” demonstration shows some party supporters exchanging blows with each other amid the crowd, an awkward moment of infighting during a protest meant to project unity against what the party describes as threats to Ghana’s democracy.

The footage shows a scuffle breaking out among a group of demonstrators, some dressed in party colours, as others nearby attempt to separate them.

The clash comes as part of a broader demonstration that saw thousands of NPP supporters, executives, and MPs march from the Supreme Court to Jubilee House, presenting petitions over concerns including alleged politically motivated arrests and what the party has called selective justice within the judiciary.

The specific cause of the altercation and whether it involved a personal dispute, miscommunication, or something else entirely, remains unclear.

It’s an unflattering visual footnote to a demonstration organisers had explicitly framed as disciplined “constitutional engagement” rather than confrontation.
