2027: Peter Obi under attack over Koinonia Global visit, prayer for corrupt politicians

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been criticized by some Nigerians over his visit to Koinonia Global Ministries on Sunday.
Koinonia Global Ministries is an interdenominational worship centre founded by Apostle Joshua Selman. The members meet in Abuja.
During his visit, Obi had urged Nigerians to pray for politicians because they are the problem the country is having.
He urged the citizens to pray that politicians would stop stealing government funds.
However, Obi has been criticized by some social media users for visiting churches like he did during the 2023 presidential election.
Some Nigerians who frowned at Obi’s visit to the church took to their X handle to register their disapproval.
@emmaikumeh: “Peter Obi has resumed his church-to-church movement. This strategy don cast lol.
“Lol Naso. He waited until the campaign before he went to that church.”
@Dgreatayfocus: “Playing religious cards during an election is allowed, I will only have a problem with you if you criticise another politician when they play theirs.
“It can be tribal, ethnic or power, after all, all is fair in politics.”
@Adeyanjudeji: “Peter Obi the religious bigot has started again moving from church to church with elections around the corner. Church to church campaign lol. Shameless man.”
@mario9jaa: “Election don come, Peter Obi don resume church “patronage.”
@walkerNG20: “Lmao, In fact this time around Obi will campaign anywhere possible, be it mosque or church and there’s nothing you children of perdition will do.”
Austinayo67923: “The man dey lie wetin no good and he dey evasive gannnn ni.”
Akanni0104: “The same strategy in the last election has begun, the fraud as usual has begun visitation of church. The same church his supporter desecrated saying if Jesus contested election with him. Obi go win am.”
