The National leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Henry Seriake Dickson, has hosted the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at a high-level strategy meeting ahead of the commencement of election campaigns later this month.
Dickson disclosed this in a post shared on his official X handle on Thursday, where he said the meeting focused on the state of the party and preparations for the upcoming nationwide campaigns.
According to Dickson, the meeting reviewed the state of the NDC and mapped out strategies ahead of the official campaign period for the 2027 general election.

He described the meeting as productive, expressing optimism about the party’s readiness for the campaigns.
“It was a pleasure to have hosted our presidential candidate, His Excellency Peter Gregory Obi, CON, and his running mate, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, CON, at a high-level consultative meeting to discuss the positive state of affairs of our party and to prepare for the forthcoming campaigns, which are expected to commence later this month,” Dickson wrote.
The former Bayelsa State governor also appealed to party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the party’s electoral success.
“We call on all members, supporters and stakeholders of our great party to unite, remain steadfast and work together for victory for all candidates of our party,” he said.
