“Run if they say Ronaldo is better than Messi” – Bovi shares unusual business advice

Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi has sparked reactions online after advising people to avoid doing business with anyone who believes Cristiano Ronaldo is a better footballer than Lionel Messi.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed a person’s opinion on the long-running football debate could reveal how they think and make decisions in real life.

According to him, there is nothing wrong with preferring Ronaldo or even calling him the greatest footballer of all time. However, he said the real question is who the better footballer is between Ronaldo and Messi.

“If you’re going into business with someone you don’t know very well, ask them who the better footballer is between Ronaldo and Messi. If they tell you Ronaldo is the better footballer, pick up your shoes and run.”

It means they can take what is true and twist it to fit their own reality. When someone can genuinely believe that, you have to be careful because they can do the same thing in business,” he said.

Bovi further argued that anyone who genuinely believes Ronaldo is the better footballer despite what he described as obvious evidence may have a habit of twisting reality to suit personal beliefs.

The comedian ended the video on a lighter note, telling viewers to “thank me later and cut me a cheque.”

His comments have reignited the never-ending Messi versus Ronaldo debate, with fans divided over his humorous business advice.
