Otunba Gbenga Daniel Restructures Gateway Front Foundation, Pledges Renewed Grassroots Impact

Ogun East Senatorial District representative and former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has approved a sweeping reorganization of the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) in a move aimed at amplifying its humanitarian reach and deepening community engagement across the district.
The restructuring will see the appointment of Local Government Managers who will work alongside an Executive Secretary—the Foundation’s new administrative head—to streamline operations and bring programmes closer to the grassroots.
According to a statement from the OGD Media Office, the revamped GFF will prioritise large-scale empowerment schemes, medical outreaches, educational support, and targeted interventions for youth and women. The goal, the statement noted, is to tangibly improve living standards across Ogun East.
Beyond social welfare, Daniel is also doubling down on leadership cultivation through the Political Leadership Academy (POLA), a non-partisan mentorship initiative designed to groom emerging political leaders in the values and competencies required for ethical public service.
While reaffirming his readiness to offer guidance and counsel, the former governor urged associates and supporters to stay committed to ideals of selfless service, democratic participation, and sustainable development.
Daniel expressed deep gratitude to partners, coordinators, members, and backers of the Foundation for their loyalty and sacrifices over the past 26 years, crediting their efforts with advancing grassroots engagement and the development agenda across the senatorial district.
The new Local Government Managers and Executive Secretary will be announced in due course, the statement added.
