‘We want to abandon this life’ – Dreaded Rivers armed group begs OPM pastor [VIDEO]

A dreaded armed group in Rivers State, Ekpeye Freedom Fighters, has surrendered and begged the popular Port Harcourt pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere of Omega Power Ministries, OPM, to help them leave the creeks and return to normal life.
In a viral video, members of the group were seen with their arms raised, calling on the OPM founder to come to their aid.
The armed men claimed they were tired of living in the bush, fighting and hiding, and wanted to embrace amnesty and rehabilitation.
They said that Apostle Chibuzor is the only man they trust to help them, because of his track record in helping repentant cultists, militants and ex-prisoners.
“We are calling on Apostle Chibuzor of OPM to help us. We want to leave this life. We want to go back to normal life. We are tired,” one of the leaders of the group said.
Recall that the Ekpeye Freedom Fighters have been accused of complicity in several kidnappings, oil bunkering and cult clashes in Ahoada East and Ahoada West local government areas of Rivers State.
The development has sparked jubilation in Ekpeye land, with many residents praising the OPM pastor and calling on the Rivers State Government and security agencies to support the rehabilitation process.
As of the time of filing this report, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has yet to respond to the appeal.
