Turkey: Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk gives update on Osimhen’s injury

Osimhen didn’t feature for Galatasaray against Amed SK in Turkish Super Lig on Saturday as they won 4-3.
The 27-year-old sustained a knee injury during Galatasaray’s victory against Stuttgart in the Champions League.
Providing an update on the Nigerian international, Buruk said Osimhen will be monitored, adding that the international break gave Galatasaray two weeks off.
“We don’t have a definite timeline for Osimhen, just an estimate,” Buruk said as quoted by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.
“The international break gave us a two-week gain. We will monitor his progress day by day.”
Galatasaray had announced that Osimhen’s surgery was successful.
Osimhen is also expected to miss Galatasaray’s next match against Samsunspor on Saturday, 21 November 2026.
