My govt sharing prosperity, clearing pensions, gratuities – Tinubu

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, during his presidential campaign rally, Tinubu urged Nigerian youths to get their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, and ensure they vote for him in 2027.
The president urged Nigerian youths to use their PVCs as a weapon in 2027.
According to Tinubu: “Today again, I return here to say thank you and seek your support for the second term. I’m seeking that support because you believe in me; you believe that I care for you, particularly all of you youths; your education, your welfare, and your skills are extremely important to me and Nigeria.
“I assure you that we have started the golden age; the prosperity is here. To the youths, your future depends on this election; this progress has no reverse gear. It’s left for you to use the weapon you have, and that weapon is the PVC. If you have not collected yours, please go ahead and collect it.”
“The people who governed before left unpaid pensions and gratuities in billions and trillions of naira; that is being cleared, so that every family is included and we are sharing prosperity already.
“A retired engineer is receiving their pensions right now, a retired welder is receiving his pension right now, a retired teacher is receiving a pension right now. Thank you for bearing with me; thank you for your interaction with me,” he added.
