Zamfara: Resign if you’re dissatisfied with my administration — Lawal tells appointees

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has told political appointees who are dissatisfied with his administration to resign from their positions.
Lawal made the statement on Saturday at an All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting at the Government House in Gusau.
He was responding to complaints from some party stakeholders, including political appointees, youths and women, over alleged neglect and lack of welfare.
“There are some political office holders who complain that they have not gotten anything. That is not true. Even among the commissioners, anyone who feels he is not getting anything should resign,” Lawal said.
The governor also urged APC members in the state to end factional politics and work together as one party.
“From today, please, let us stop the politics of so-and-so’s houses. Let us come together as one party with the same vision. The talk of Dauda’s house, Matawalle’s house or Shehi’s house should stop,” he said.
Lawal said he would meet former governors of the state to harmonise and compile the list of members for the APC campaign council ahead of the 2027 elections.
