Yorke said he doesn’t understand why Carrick doesn’t play the Slovenian striker regularly for the Red Devils.

Sesko has not yet started a match for Man United in the Premier League since returning from a shin injury.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Yorke said, “When you look at those players up top, for me, the big question mark there with Carrick, I don’t understand why Sesko doesn’t play.

“I know he is injured now, but you have got to play the guy as a nine. You have to trust the kid. He has all the attributes.”

This is coming ahead of Man United’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
