Transfer: Bayer Leverkusen chief addresses Boniface’s transfer speculation

Published

on

Boniface has already expressed his desire to leave the former Bundesliga champions when the transfer window reopens in January, according to Sky Sports.

The Nigeria international has struggled for regular time at the club this season.

Rolfes, however, stated that the striker will get his opportunity at the right time.

“That doesn’t change Boni’s situation. He needs to stay fit, keep at it and improve, then his opportunity will arise. I’m not worried,” Rolfes said.

Boniface spent last season on loan with another Bundesliga club, Werder Bremen.
