The Member representing Ahoada West Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Sokari Goodboy Sokari, has urged members of the Simplified Family in the area to collapse into the Rainbow Coalition Family.

Hon. Sokari, who is also the leader of the Simplified Movement in Ahoada West, gave the directive today during the stakeholders meeting of the Simplified Movement in Ahoada West.

Our correspondent reports that the event brought together political leaders, women leaders and youth leaders from the 12 wards and non-indigenes in the LGA.

Speaking with a cross-section of journalists shortly after the event, Sokari thanked the people for their support thus far, saying he does not take the unique privilege of representing them for granted

He also thanked the stakeholders for supporting the programmes and projects of the State Government led by Sir Siminalayi Fubara.

He assured that together with their continued support he will work effortlessly to bring victory to the Coalition in Ahoada West.

“I want to thank our people for their support so far and especially for supporting the programmes and projects of the State government led by the workaholic Governor, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara (GSSRS).

“Working closely with these stakeholders, supporters and eligible voters, I will work effortlessly to bring victory to the Coalition in Ahoada West,” he said.

The award-winning lawmaker stressed that unity is the only way forward, declaring that the present unity is for the betterment of Rivers State and its people.

In his words: “The current unity is for the betterment of Rivers State and the people; and we thank God for making it a reality.”

Sokari noted that there is no more division and no more camps, as all lovers of good governance are now under one umbrella in the Rainbow Coalition championed by Governor Fubara.

He further assured that the remaining months of his tenure will be impactful for the people of Ahoada West while also prioritizing the victory of Rainbow Coalition candidates in the 2027 general elections.

“In these remaining months to mark the end of my tenure, I will do what an Assembly member of 8 years will find difficult to achieve. Ahoada West will continue to feel quality representation,” he stated.

The meeting, which was held in a beautifully decorated hall filled to capacity, was agog with excitement.

A major highlight was the resounding welcome given to the entourage of the Executive Chairman of Ahoada West LGA, Hon. Chita Eugene, JP, as the Simplified Family stood up in unison to receive him.
