Nations League: Bruno Fernandes replaces Ronaldo as Portugal captain

Manchester United playmaker, Bruno Fernandes, has replaced Cristiano Ronaldo as the captain of the Portugal national team.
Fernandes will lead the team out for their UEFA Nations League clash against Denmark on Thursday evening.
The 32-year-old takes the armband following Ronaldo’s decision to leave camp.
Ronaldo was left furious after head coach Jorge Jesus left him on the bench for the entirety of their 2-1 win over Norway on Sunday.
The Al Nassr superstar has vowed to reveal “the truth” about his departure from camp.
Rafael Leao has also taken over Ronaldo’s iconic no.7 shirt.
