You’ll hear from me in another dimension

A Nigerian lady has shared her experience after ₦170,000 was mistakenly transferred into her OPay account, only for her to later receive an urgent call from the alleged sender demanding a refund.
The story was shared by an X user, @NancyPrizeless, who recounted how she discovered the unexpected credit and later received a call from an unknown number.
‘I Quickly Checked the Description’
According to Nancy, the ₦170,000 entered her OPay account during the night, and she noticed the alert when she woke up the following morning.
She said she immediately checked the transaction description to determine whether the money had come from her office or a client.
“My Opay account was credited with the sum of N170,000 lastnight. I woke up to the alert this morning and I quickly checked the description to see if it was from the office,” she wrote.
Nancy said she initially assumed the money could have been sent by a client who wanted to pay for a reservation and possibly stay for a few days.
“Probably a client wanting to pay for a reservation and likely staying for a few days. But I was wrong,” she stated.
‘I Had to Pick Up the Call’
The woman said she continued with her normal activities and later went to her office.
A few hours later, she reportedly received a call from an unfamiliar number.
Nancy explained that she normally does not answer calls from strange numbers, but decided to pick up because of the ₦170,000 that had entered her account.
“For someone like me who doesn’t pick up strange numbers, I had to pick up because of the money that entered my account,” she wrote.
She said she already suspected that the caller could be contacting her about the money and requesting a refund.
“I had a feeling they were calling for a refund,” she stated.
‘Send the Money in the Next 20 Minutes’
According to Nancy, the call was from a woman who claimed to have transferred the ₦170,000 to her OPay account.
The woman allegedly asked Nancy to send the money to another account number that she would provide, claiming the matter was urgent.
“Hello, I sent N170,000 your Opay last night and this number hasn’t been reachable, send the money to the account number I’m going to send now because it’s urgent,” the caller allegedly said.
Nancy claimed the woman then gave her a 20-minute deadline and threatened that she would “hear from” her in another dimension if she failed to make the transfer.
“…and if you fail to send it in the next 20 minutes, my dear, you will hear from me in another dimension,” the woman allegedly added.
