EPL: Unbeaten Everton chase statement win vs Chelsea as Moyes plots revenge against Alonso

Everton will clash with Chelsea in the Premier League in an early kick-off at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams are level on 10 points after six Premier League games.
David Moyes’ side remain unbeaten this season after recording two wins and four draws as they sit in fifth position on the Premier League table.
Chelsea, on the other hand, sit in sixth place place after recording three wins, one draw and two defeats.
The Blues arrive at the Merseyside buoyed by a 5-1 demolition of Bournemouth last weekend, while the Toffees drew 2-2 with Hull City.
Everton boasts a formidable recent home record against Chelsea, winning six of their past nine league meetings at Goodison Park and claiming a dominant 3-0 victory in the corresponding fixture last March.
However, Everton face defensive concerns with Jarrad Branthwaite a doubt due to a dead leg, while Vitalii Mykolenko could return.
Chelsea remain without captain Reece James, who faces around three months out after knee surgery.
Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has faced Everton head coach David Moyes in the Europa League quarter-final stage during their time at Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham United, respectively, two years ago.
Bayer Leverkusen won the Europa League encounter 3-1 on aggregate to progress to the semi-final stage.
Meanwhile, Opta’s supercomputer makes Everton slight favourites with a 42.9% win probability, ahead of Chelsea’s 30.4%.
