Zidane Announces First France Squad With Mbappé, Dembélé, Olise Included
France have unveiled their first squad under new head coach Zinedine Zidane, with Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Michael Olise among the headline names. France have unveiled their first squad under new head coach Zinedine Zidane, with Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Michael Olise among the headline names.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Zidane has selected a 22-man squad for his first assignment in charge of Les Bleus.
Mike Maignan, Robin Risser and Restes were named as the three goalkeepers, while the defensive options include Andy Diouf, Jacquet, Pierre Kalulu, Ibrahima Konaté, Jules Koundé, Maxence Lacroix, Truffert and Dayot Upamecano.
The midfield features Eduardo Camavinga, Rayan Cherki, Da Cunha, Manu Koné, Adrien Rabiot and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
Up front, Zidane has called up Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Lepaul, Mbappé and Olise.
The squad marks the beginning of Zidane’s tenure with the France national team following his appointment as successor to Didier Deschamps. Zidane previously managed Real Madrid and has not coached since leaving the Spanish club in 2021.

Midfielders: Camavinga, Cherki, Da Cunha, Manu Koné, Rabiot, Zaïre-Emery.
Forwards: Barcola, Dembélé, Doué, Lepaul, Mbappé, Olise.
